Senior Tax Analyst – Brazil (Hybrid)

Lead direct-tax compliance and reporting for Brazilian operations, covering IRPJ, CSLL, reconciliations, deferred taxes, and regulatory filings. Support audits, legislative-impact assessments, and process improvements across a financial technology business.

  • Manage and review recurring tax department activities
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual direct-tax calculations, including IRPJ (Corporate Income Tax) and CSLL (Social Contribution on Net Income), under Actual Profit and Presumed Profit regimes
  • Prepare and validate ancillary direct-tax filings, including ECF, PER/DCOMP, and other applicable obligations
  • Reconcile tax records and verify alignment between tax calculations, financial statements, and ancillary filings
  • Calculate, monitor, and analyze deferred tax assets and liabilities, including temporary differences and supporting technical documentation
  • Assist with audits and tax inspections by developing technical analyses and responding to information requests
  • Evaluate the tax implications of legislative changes and recommend process adjustments and action plans
  • Maintain tax compliance, follow accounting and tax standards, and help reduce tax exposure

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Substantial tax experience, particularly with direct taxes such as IRPJ and CSLL
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Brazilian legislation governing direct taxes
  • Experience preparing ancillary tax obligations, especially ECF
  • Background in tax reconciliations and accounting integration
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Preferred experience with the Actual Profit regime, including detailed tax calculations and LALUR/LACS adjustments
  • Preferred experience with deferred taxes, including DTA/DTL, and relevant accounting standards
  • Preferred experience in tax planning and evaluating tax scenarios
  • Preferred knowledge of IFRS/IAS 12 for income taxes
  • Preferred familiarity with Protheus, SAP, or specialized tax systems
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
  • Capacity to work independently and own complex assignments
  • Highly organized and disciplined, with consistent attention to quality and deadlines
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Clear communicator who works effectively with internal teams
