- Have at least five years of full-time software engineering experience after completing school.
- Have worked at an early-stage startup or on a startup-style team within a larger company.
- Have built payments, billing, ledger, or risk systems at a fintech such as Stripe or Ramp.
- Have at least ten years of experience building backend and full-stack systems at scale.
- Hold a degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
- Nice to have: Experience with fintech and billing platforms at Ramp and Constant Contact.
- Nice to have: Experience in fintech and risk systems at Stripe.
- Nice to have: Python backend development and Kafka data pipeline expertise.
