- Create and operate scalable observability pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and alerts
- Establish and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
- Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code templates and frameworks for observability instrumentation and onboarding
- Build automation that strengthens application resilience, recoverability, availability, and scalability
- Use destructive testing to uncover system vulnerabilities
- Create tools that improve reliability, quality, and delivery speed
- Automate repetitive operational work to reduce toil
- Partner with development teams to run scalable, resilient, cloud-native systems
- Assess stability risks and develop mitigation plans with engineering leadership
- Analyze technical indicators such as errors, latency, caching, capacity, and resource utilization
- Assess and optimize the performance of new and production systems
- Resolve complex architecture, design, and business challenges by simplifying processes and removing bottlenecks
- Assess and adopt emerging technologies and architectural approaches
- Troubleshoot distributed production environments and lead root-cause analysis for platform incidents
- Support incident response, service recovery, operational support, and postmortem reviews
- Offer technical direction and mentorship
- Apply AI/ML capabilities to improve anomaly detection, alert accuracy, and performance insights
- Incorporate observability practices into system architecture and deployment processes
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a site reliability engineering role
- At least 5 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Java or Scala, C, or C++
- At least 3 years of experience creating reusable infrastructure-as-code templates and frameworks with Terraform or ToFu
- At least 3 years of experience using application performance management and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, Kafka, or Datadog
- At least 3 years of experience with J2EE, NoSQL or SQL data stores, Spring Boot, GCP, AWS or Azure, and Docker or Kubernetes for multi-tier application development
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices platforms
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, internet routing, and load balancing
- Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and its services
- Experience implementing automated, test-driven development in CI/CD pipelines
- Thorough understanding of software development and agile methodologies
- Understanding of how to implement observability strategies that improve MTTD and MTTR
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
