Senior Plumbing Engineer/Designer, Data Centers
Lead plumbing design for hyperscale data center projects and provide engineering expertise to AECOM clients. The role includes technical reviews, client presentations, and occasional project travel.

- Lead engineering work on hyperscale data center projects
- Design plumbing systems for large-scale data centers
- Contribute specialized technical expertise to studies and designs
- Review and approve engineering work
- Work with engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications and design criteria
- Advise on technical aspects of studies and design efforts
- Present complex engineering solutions to clients
- Review work prepared by others for quality
- Contribute to technical proposals
- Develop budget and schedule estimates for large engineering projects
- Travel occasionally for client meetings, project milestones, onsite collaboration, or other business-critical needs
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 6 years of building systems engineering experience, mainly in plumbing design for large buildings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit
- Working knowledge of relevant local and national building codes
- Proficiency with engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing
- Broad experience in plumbing project design and delivery
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of sustainable plumbing design and foundational LEED building practices
- More than 10 years of relevant experience preferred
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Certified in Plumbing Design credential preferred
- Strong written communication, presentation, and client-facing skills preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; AECOM cannot provide employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future
- Must attend the first day of onboarding in person at an AECOM office
