- Develop backend search and booking functionality with support from senior engineers
- Work with the team to enhance existing features, with an emphasis on performance and user experience
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of third-party API integrations
- Maintain KAYAK’s search and booking platform, which connects more than 200 travel partners with over 500,000 hotels and 550 airlines

- Degree or formal education in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least four years of professional Java development experience
- Working knowledge of the Spring framework and SQL databases
- Professional fluency in English
- Motivation to learn and develop within a collaborative team

- Experience with ElasticSearch or comparable search technology is an advantage
