Senior Java Developer, Open Finance (Remote - Brazil)
Build and support Java integrations, metrics workflows, and regulatory controls for Brazil’s Open Finance ecosystem. This hands-on role at DB connects data, APIs, observability, and governance.

- Own the delivery, improvement, and ongoing support of solutions for the Metrics Control Platform (PCM)
- Build and maintain integrations linking internal systems with the metrics platform
- Automate the collection, processing, validation, consolidation, and submission of metrics
- Protect the quality, integrity, and traceability of submitted data
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies or gaps in reported information
- Create solutions with APIs, batch workflows, databases, and operational data extraction mechanisms
- Help define metrics from logs, service metrics, and distributed traces
- Monitor APIs and services through observability practices
- Maintain controls, supporting evidence, and audit mechanisms for regulatory obligations
- Convert regulatory obligations into practical technical and operational requirements
- Partner with Business, Architecture, Development, and Operations stakeholders
- Help document processes and enable team training
- Help establish governance for the continued operation of metric collection and submission processes
आवश्यकताएँ
- Practical experience with Brazil’s Open Finance or Open Banking ecosystem
- Understanding of Open Finance governance, including participants, responsibilities, roles, and obligations
- Professional experience developing with Java
- Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Background integrating systems through APIs, batch workflows, or similar mechanisms
- Experience collecting, processing, consolidating, and validating data and metrics
- Knowledge of ETL or ELT and broader data integration practices
- Experience observing and monitoring APIs and services
- Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and traces to produce meaningful indicators
- Experience with controls, audits, traceability, and data quality practices
- Ability to turn regulatory obligations into implementable technical solutions
- Experience supporting critical, highly available systems handling substantial processing volumes
- Broad knowledge of Java, SQL, relational modeling, ETL or ELT, APIs, integrations, databases, data processing, consolidation, observability, and monitoring
- Willingness and ability to work with or learn Node.js, C#, and Rust
