- Develop applications, prototypes, standards, and emerging technologies to support customer missions
- Bring Education Finance survey data collection, processing, and distribution together in a new system
- Design and build software projects
- Improve and maintain existing software applications
- Collaborate with a team using GitHub
- Apply agile methods throughout software development
- Use AWS and containerization to support cloud migrations
- Work with product owners to clarify requirements
- Take part in peer testing and demonstrate development work
- Build a processing system or ingestion engine to replace or migrate the existing Education Finance survey project
- Improve web services and user interfaces for existing systems
- Help convert estimation and dissemination programs from SAS to Python
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain a sample-generation program using frame data
- Work with web services, migrate Oracle databases to PostgreSQL, and support cloud migration
आवश्यकताएँ
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of Python experience
- At least 3 years of Angular experience
- At least 3 years of FastAPI experience
- At least 3 years of Oracle experience
- At least 3 years of PostgreSQL experience
- At least 3 years of Java Web Services experience
- Must pass a background check covering criminal history, education, professional certifications, prior employment, and credit history
- Fingerprinting is required for the Public Trust background investigation
- C# and WPF experience of 3 or more years is helpful but optional
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers when needed
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or higher is preferred
