  • Set priorities and support finance team managers to sustain delivery and escalate issues promptly.
  • Manage external audits from planning to completion, including schedules, stakeholders and resourcing.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and capital adequacy monitoring for regulated entities, meeting deadlines and providing assurance to boards and regulators.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, consolidated financial information and board reports across jurisdictions.
  • Manage tax compliance and statutory filings across jurisdictions, coordinating advisers and overseeing VAT and corporate tax return processes and deadlines.
  • Serve as a senior finance contact for regulators, banks, auditors and other external stakeholders, resolving finance matters promptly.
  • Maintain Ogier Global’s finance policies, controls and governance framework, monitoring key controls and escalating weaknesses or breaches.
  • Oversee group treasury, including liquidity, cash forecasts, banking relationships, intercompany funding and payment approvals.
  • Manage core finance operations, including payables, expenses and receivables, ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance with controls.
  • Support finance process improvements and operational initiatives while prioritising reporting, control and compliance obligations.

  • Hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification, such as ACCA or ICAEW.
  • Have experience in a senior finance position within professional services.
  • Be able to step into a senior position, set priorities quickly and maintain delivery.
  • Have experience managing finance operations in a regulated, multi-jurisdictional business.
  • Have strong working knowledge of regulatory reporting, capital adequacy and governance requirements.
  • Bring demonstrated experience leading and managing a team.

  • Have managed external audits from planning through to completion.
  • Have maintained finance policies, controls and governance frameworks in a complex organisation.
  • Bring treasury and cash management experience, including oversight of banking relationships.
  • Have strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with the ability to influence senior leaders, business owners and external stakeholders.
  • Be highly organised, plan effectively and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Build effective working relationships across finance, operations, leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Be advanced in Microsoft Excel and capable across Microsoft Office applications.
