Finance Manager, London (Hybrid)

Lead budgeting, forecasting, payroll and financial reporting for a founder-led boutique fitness brand in London. Partner with teams on commercial decisions during a 12-month maternity cover.

विवरण

  • Build budgets, forecasts and long-range plans, and maintain the financial planning model
  • Analyse booking and sales data from the studio management system using Excel
  • Deliver weekly and monthly sales and KPI reports
  • Prepare month-end reporting packs and P&L variance commentary using management accounts from external accountants
  • Monitor spending against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early
  • Run monthly payroll for around 70–80 employed and freelance instructors
  • Check freelancer invoices against hours worked before sending payroll to external accountants
  • Oversee accounts payable, from invoice approvals to the monthly supplier payment run
  • Maintain the contract database and track renewals and price increases
  • Administer expenses in Pleo, including receipt collection and coding
  • Manage credit card assignments
  • Coordinate a monthly schedule of around 30 deadlines covering payroll, expenses, freelancers, supplier payments and reporting
  • Partner with People, Marketing, Operations and Member Experience teams
  • Help develop business cases for new opportunities and initiatives
  • Support stock and inventory management and controls
  • Serve as a primary finance contact for internal and external enquiries
  • Coordinate with the external accounting firm to keep finance operations running smoothly
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, analysis and process improvements

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Hold an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification and have post-qualification industry experience
  • Have industry experience; candidates with experience solely in practice are not suited to the role
  • Be highly proficient in Excel
  • Be confident extracting, reshaping and analysing raw data
  • Bring exceptional attention to detail and strong cost awareness
  • Be organised and reliable when managing a demanding schedule of recurring deadlines
  • Work independently and take initiative without daily oversight
  • Bring commercial judgement and confidence working with non-finance teams
  • Business partnering experience is an advantage
  • Be hands-on and willing to handle both analysis and day-to-day processing
  • Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
  • Have an interest in fitness and wellbeing, which is a strong plus
  • Be available to start in December 2026 for a 12-month fixed-term role
