Senior Executive Coding Auditor, Outpatient Surgery
Audit multi-specialty outpatient surgery records as a senior surgery coder at EXL, a healthcare analytics and digital operations company. Help maintain coding quality and productivity while supporting HIPAA and OIG compliance.

- Adhere to all standard operating procedures
- Complete assigned audits accurately and to quality standards
- Meet quality and production targets
- Follow project protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and flag emerging trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other relevant logs each day
- Seek clarification from the Manager or Team Lead when needed
- Respond promptly to emails from the Manager
- Use problem-solving skills to address issues
- Help ensure the team follows HIPAA and OIG requirements
आवश्यकताएँ
- Degree in life sciences or paramedical studies
- CPC or CPMA credential
- CPC certification
- At least 3 years of coding experience overall
- At least 3 years coding multi-specialty surgery, including IVR and general surgery
- Experience in outpatient surgery coding
- APC facility coding experience is an advantage
- Computer proficiency
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good communication, flexibility, and reliability
- Auditing and denial management experience is optional
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
- Shift runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. IST
- High-speed broadband internet at home
- Ability to understand and follow the telecommuter policy
