Senior Data Warehouse Engineer – Bengaluru Onsite

- Manage and improve Vertica data warehouse pipelines and models
- Build and refine Talend-based ETL workflows
- Translate Oracle procedures, queries, and business logic into optimized Vertica models
- Convert business needs into effective SQL and query solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and produce technical specifications
- Maintain data accuracy, quality, and audit trails for regulatory reporting
- Support reporting platforms such as SSAS and Power BI
- Use PostgreSQL and other supporting data systems when required
- Investigate performance problems and tune SQL and data models
- Lead requirements analysis and documentation
- Develop software with programming, scripting, and database languages
- Assist with testing, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing software improvements
- Follow development practices covering coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as B.Tech or B.E.
- Substantial experience working with Vertica or comparable MPP data warehouse platforms
- Practical experience developing ETL processes with Talend
- Strong SQL skills, including query tuning and data modeling
- Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including migration to modern data warehouse platforms
- Ability to turn business requirements into workable technical solutions
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, ETL, and data quality
- Familiarity with OLAP systems and data cubes
- Experience with metadata management and data quality frameworks
- Python, SQL, or Java programming skills for data workflows and automation
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
