Senior Cloud and Systems Engineer
Build and operate PayPal’s scalable cloud infrastructure for global payment services. Work across AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, networking, and cloud automation.
विवरण
- Design and scale multi-cloud platforms across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Drive migrations from on-premises environments to public cloud.
- Oversee load balancers, GSLB equipment, and CDN platforms.
- Diagnose client and server issues.
- Respond to outages, network incidents, and escalations, and lead root cause analysis.
- Design backbone networks for on-premises systems and public-cloud migrations.
- Build hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Set project goals, timelines, and feature requirements with leaders, product managers, and customers.
- Maintain network availability and capacity while meeting Information Security requirements.
- Deploy equipment, manage SSL certificate hosting and renewals, and build data-center and cloud infrastructure.
- Refine operational procedures, systems, and network engineering practices.
- Provide on-call support, monitor infrastructure and hosted services, and resolve complex issues.
- Coordinate global teams and mentor colleagues.
- Brief executives on incident impact, risk, and mitigation plans.
- Record incidents, designs, and network engineering practices.
- Write efficient, reusable frontend and backend code.
- Deliver quality solutions on schedule.
- Prepare and review detailed design documents.
- Provide technical and business leadership alongside hands-on technical support.
- Contribute to improvements in tools, systems, and processes that strengthen product supportability and productivity.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring at least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have 4–8 years of experience building large-scale enterprise applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Have experience developing frontend applications with JavaScript and React.
- Have experience building backend services with REST APIs in Go.
- Have experience with cloud-native services on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, including Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Have experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Have experience writing unit and integration tests for JavaScript frontends and Go backends.
- Know basic Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Know CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harness, and ArgoCD.
- Bring strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable working with Agile development and Scrum.
- AI experience is a plus.
