विवरण

  • Design and provide technical support and quality reviews for substation facilities, from concept through detailed design.
  • Analyze and design civil works using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic and drainage modeling tools.
  • Prepare and review design basis memoranda, reports, plans, specifications, and field review documents.
  • Check vendor and contractor documents for alignment with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Address construction-site requests and complete project records, including as-builts and calculations.
  • Oversee resource planning, scope, schedule, and budget for the civil engineering project team.
  • Build relationships with external business partners and present project information to clients.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits to gather or share design and engineering information.
  • Mentor and support the development of less experienced engineers.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated projects.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Civil engineering degree from a recognized university.
  • Canadian Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, or eligibility to register as a professional engineer with EGBC.
  • At least 12 years of civil engineering design experience.
  • Experience designing civil works for utility substations, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, earthworks, oil containment, fencing, and access roads.
  • Expertise in applicable Canadian codes and standards, including occupational health and safety regulations, municipal servicing requirements, environmental regulations, and utility infrastructure standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
