  • Set the architecture direction and roadmap for the Opto WES platform’s workflow and BPM domain.
  • Model, document, and govern processes with BPM and process-mapping tools.
  • Establish standards, reference patterns, and design guardrails for workflow modeling, deployment, and runtime behavior.
  • Promote no-code process design within established architectural guardrails.
  • Resolve architectural debt by replacing customer-specific workflow copies with configurable, multi-tenant-aware models.
  • Plan and lead workflow migrations to a consolidated BPM platform, such as Camunda.
  • Assess workflow engine strategy, licensing, total cost of ownership, and migration options through cost-benefit analysis and proof-of-concept evidence.
  • Create and maintain blueprint definitions, decision memos, and architecture materials for Architecture Review Board review.
  • Give day-to-day technical direction to the CapBPM engineering team.
  • Review CapBPM designs and implementations for standards, quality, and platform alignment before merge and release.
  • Manage technical requirements flow-down and work intake for the CapBPM team.
  • Monitor delivery health and raise risks to KPI leadership.
  • Work with CapBPM on team staffing, onboarding pace, and capability gaps.
  • Represent the workflow domain in Architecture Review Board sessions and platform roadmap planning.
  • Coordinate workflow dependencies with product, project delivery, and DevSecOps teams on active client implementations.
  • Report workflow direction, delivery status, and key decisions to executives.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including deep expertise designing and operating workflow, BPM, or orchestration systems such as Camunda or Flowable.
  • Practical experience with BPM and process-mapping tools, workflow migrations, and no-code or low-code process design.
  • Track record of owning production platform architecture, defining standards, and governing designs.
  • Strong backend engineering skills with Java, Spring Boot, REST integrations, and microservice patterns.
  • Experience providing technical leadership to distributed or vendor-staffed engineering teams.
  • Ability to evaluate and explain technology choices using cost-benefit analysis, total-cost-of-ownership models, and proof-of-concept work.
  • Excellent written communication, including architecture documentation and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience with WES or WMS, warehouse automation, or industrial orchestration.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant configuration approaches and platform consolidation efforts.
  • Direct experience with CapBPM or comparable BPM or process-mapping providers, including BPM licensing negotiations.
  • Experience working within an Agile or SAFe PI planning cadence.
