- Handle civil litigation defense cases from discovery through trial preparation
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Prepare pleadings, legal documents, and court filings
- Shape effective litigation strategies
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Prepare witnesses for proceedings
- Contribute to case evaluations and settlement discussions
- Work with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
- Research complex legal questions
- Strengthen client relationships
- Provide efficient, results-focused representation
आवश्यकताएँ
- Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Maintain active membership in the California Bar in good standing
- Have at least three years of relevant civil litigation experience
- Bring experience with written discovery
- Have experience taking or defending depositions
- Experience in personal injury, construction defect, habitability, insurance coverage, product liability, or professional liability litigation is strongly preferred
- Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Manage cases independently while working effectively with a team
- If based outside California, be able to accommodate California court appearances when needed
