Senior Aerospace Project Engineer – Control Systems (Hybrid, UK)
Lead complex aerospace Control Systems projects for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. Oversee planning, suppliers, requirements, risks, design reviews, and delivery across the product lifecycle.
विवरण
- Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones using earned-value metrics
- Track plan execution and milestone performance to support on-time product delivery
- Define and monitor work packages for internal suppliers
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers throughout projects
- Control project cost, quality, and schedule performance
- Validate, allocate, and manage project requirements
- Coordinate and lead design reviews in line with HAY procedures
- Own project risks and mitigation plans
- Lead engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions
आवश्यकताएँ
- HND, HNC, or degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- At least three years of project management experience in engineering, aerospace, safety-critical, or similarly regulated environments
- Proven experience delivering products through the full lifecycle, from concept to commissioning
- Experience with Microsoft Project or a comparable project forecasting system
- Strong knowledge of suppliers and integrated supply chains, with practical experience in this area
- Ability to deliver within defined project cost, quality, and schedule targets
