Remote Web Game Developer in Brazil
Develop high-performance 2D browser games for desktop and mobile using TypeScript, PixiJS, SolidJS, and modern web technologies. Join Side’s global game services business as a contract developer working remotely from Brazil.

- Develop and maintain 2D browser games with TypeScript/JavaScript, PixiJS, SolidJS, Vite, HTML5, and CSS
- Create game animations, transitions, and interactive features with GSAP
- Add web audio through Howler.js and organize assets such as sprites, textures, and atlases
- Improve desktop and mobile browser performance across memory usage, rendering, loading, and runtime execution
- Create responsive gameplay experiences for varied screen sizes, resolutions, and aspect ratios
- Apply browser debugging and profiling tools to investigate and fix technical and performance problems
- Work with the team through Git and established development practices
- Develop dependable, maintainable systems that support efficient iteration and content production
- Diagnose technical problems across the game, browser, and broader web technology stack
आवश्यकताएँ
- Submit the application and CV/resume in English for consideration
- Bring substantial professional experience developing 2D browser games
- Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and practical experience with PixiJS or a comparable 2D web-rendering framework
- Have experience with HTML5/CSS, SolidJS, Vite, and Git
- Understand browser animation and transitions, especially GSAP
- Have implemented web audio, ideally using Howler.js
- Show experience optimizing web games for desktop and mobile browsers
- Understand responsive design across different resolutions and aspect ratios
- Have managed sprites, textures, atlases, and related game assets
- Use browser debugging and profiling tools comfortably to diagnose technical and performance issues
- Additional experience with Tailwind CSS, Vitest or Playwright testing, PostHog or Sentry, asset delivery or CDN pipelines, or casual, puzzle, or other HTML5 games is desirable
