- At least 6–12 months of experience in remote medical interpretation
- C1 English proficiency, demonstrated by EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE
- ALTA score of 9+ or LanguageStat/PICSI score of 75%–80%+, with certification issued within the past 12 months preferred
- Strong command of medical and customer service terminology
- HIPAA and FWA certifications, or willingness to obtain them
- Pass a background check
- Wired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not accepted
- USB noise-canceling headset
- Windows 10 or later with at least 4 GB RAM
