- Basic to intermediate SQL skills, with the ability to extract data independently
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, modeling, data cleaning, and synthesis
- Resourceful research skills, including benchmarking and finding external sources
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Curiosity, continuous learning, and adaptability
- Clear, consultative communication focused on business needs
- Retail or consumer packaged goods knowledge is highly valued
- Familiarity with sales velocity, penetration, average basket size, and purchase frequency KPIs is highly valued
- Power BI, Metabase, or other data visualization tools are desirable
- Basic automation knowledge in Python or R is desirable
