- Write and edit internal communications, intranet articles, newsletters, media pitches, press releases, web content and social media posts
- Assist with online events and town halls, including technical setup and coordination
- Support media relations by distributing releases, maintaining media databases and recording inquiries
- Maintain the corporate website and intranet using WordPress and SharePoint
- Oversee communications project timelines, deliverables and approval workflows
- Keep content calendars, project trackers and team processes up to date
- Publish internal and external communications, coordinating French-language interpretation when required
- Schedule and publish posts across corporate social media channels
- Track traditional and social media for issues, trends and opportunities
- Analyze web, social and intranet metrics to inform ongoing improvements
- Coordinate quarterly financial-results communications in partnership with Finance and Legal
- Manage shared inboxes and handle or route incoming inquiries
- Assist with daily team administration, including lists, logs, filing and workflow coordination
- Provide practical support during busy periods and rapid-response situations

- Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant communications experience in a corporate or agency setting
- Strong writing ability and excellent editing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to develop newsworthy media pitches
- Proven project management ability with experience handling multiple deadlines
- Ability to produce engaging content for internal, digital, social and media channels
- Confidence planning and delivering online events through Microsoft Teams
- Strong proficiency with WordPress, SharePoint and Microsoft Office
- Experience using design and video applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Premiere Pro
- Professional, collaborative, adaptable and team-focused working style
- Ability to protect confidential information when required
- Willingness to contribute wherever support is needed
