Remote Business Data Analyst in Germany
Analyze complex data and improve reporting at Chaos, a global visualization and design software company. Advise teams across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product.

- Define data requirements with stakeholders, then source, prepare, and validate data from multiple systems.
- Clean, transform, and analyze complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, root causes, and insights.
- Establish and maintain standards for accurate, consistent outputs.
- Present findings clearly and concisely, translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, and support the adoption of recommendations.
- Advise Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams as a trusted analytical partner.
- Spot opportunities to improve data quality, systems, and processes.
- Develop business cases and lead implementation with the Business Analysis team and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the rollout and adoption of reporting, tools, and processes.
- Assess and document impacts, coordinate updates to deliverables, and help stakeholders navigate transitions.
- Stay current with data analysis methods and tools.
- Promote AI tools for data preparation, analysis, reporting, documentation, and automation.
- Identify and pilot new AI use cases, and coach colleagues across the team.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex analyses for stakeholders and influence business decisions.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company is an advantage.
- Experience in product analytics is an advantage.
- Experience with AI data products or applying AI tools in analytical workflows is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret complex data accurately and turn findings into clear, business-relevant insights and recommendations.
- Ability to explain analytical concepts and conclusions to non-technical and senior stakeholders while maintaining rigor.
- Ability to uphold high standards of data quality and accuracy.
- Ability to independently resolve complex data quality and integration issues.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Valid work or residence permit for Germany or the UK.
