- Direct technical delivery for environmental assessments and permitting programs supporting large capital developments
- Lead hydrogeology activities for environmental assessments and permitting programs on major capital projects
- Advise clients and cultivate durable professional relationships
- Assign work, oversee project performance, and conduct senior reviews against scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Coach, develop, recruit, and motivate hydrogeology professionals
- Advance innovative, integrated water solutions with ERM’s international water resources specialists
- Expand ERM’s integrated water management and hydrogeology offerings throughout Canada
- Contribute as a key member of the national water resources practice
- Use existing and new client relationships to increase ERM’s market presence
- Find and pursue business opportunities and develop technical proposals
- Support initiatives focused on client engagement and growth
- Work with multidisciplinary specialists across ERM’s global water resources community
- Influence the development of ERM services in environmental impact assessment, permitting, risk evaluation, and water resources management
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
- At least six years of consulting experience in physical and contaminant hydrogeology
- Background in groundwater impact assessment, groundwater resource management, permitting, aquifer management, groundwater supply evaluation, hydrogeochemistry, and contaminated-site assessment
- Experience planning and delivering hydrogeological field programs, including monitoring-well installation, drilling oversight, groundwater sampling, and hydraulic testing
- Strong capability in interpreting hydrogeological data
- Ability to produce clear, well-supported conceptual site models
- Experience applying hydrogeology methods at mining, oil and gas, and industrial sites
- Excellent technical writing ability
- Experience producing complex reports and successful proposals
- Experience mentoring early-career team members
- Ability to earn client confidence, influence decisions, and deliver high-quality results
- Knowledge of groundwater and mining-sector permitting regulations
- Established credibility with clients and regulatory authorities
- Collaborative, ethical approach and commitment to ERM’s success as a global organization
- Valid driver’s licence and/or ability to operate a company vehicle
- Ten or more years of consulting experience preferred
- Professional registration in a Canadian jurisdiction and eligibility to sign reports in Alberta and British Columbia preferred
- Familiarity with groundwater numerical modelling tools, including MODFLOW and FEFLOW, preferred
- Experience recruiting, managing, and developing technical teams preferred
- Proven business development results, including proposal strategy and client expansion, preferred
