- Partner with Pharmacy Specialists to improve patient access to medications
- Secure prior authorizations and copay assistance for injectable medications
- Review electronic health records against medication-specific payer requirements
- Answer clinic questions about prior authorizations
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, admissions, and contracting teams
- Discuss questions about high-cost medications with patients
- Work with patients and Patient Assistance Programs to support high-cost medication therapies

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Prior authorization experience strongly preferred
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional sitting, pushing, and pulling; ability to lift materials up to 40 pounds for distances of up to 10 feet
- Respond to auditory alarms and communication devices, including telephones, beepers, fire alarms, and mechanical failure alarms
- Sufficient mobility to access equipment, patients, and other customers
- Ability to read medication label information
