Part-Time Staff Accountant (Remote, United States)
Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting records for OSC Global’s cybersecurity and software engineering businesses. Support government contract accounting, intercompany reconciliations, audits, and federal compliance.

- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with month-, quarter-, and year-end close
- Maintain general ledger accounts, reconcile balances, and investigate discrepancies
- Help prepare financial statements and management reports
- Apply GAAP, company policies, government contracting rules, FAR, CAS, DCAA requirements, and other applicable standards
- Prepare schedules and documentation for DCAA and financial statement audits
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expense records
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and project accounting
- Record and reconcile intercompany labor, shared services, and overhead allocations
- Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Help prepare consolidation and elimination entries for affiliated entities
- Facilitate timely settlement of intercompany balances
- Reconcile payroll, benefits, taxes, and labor distributions
- Assist with labor transfers and project labor adjustments
- Review timesheet compliance and process labor
- Keep supporting records for financial transactions
- Work with FP&A, contracts, and operations teams to support accurate reporting for federal programs
- Carry out other assigned duties

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
- At least one year of experience in government contracting or public accounting
- Strong understanding of government contracting financial structures, cost accounting, and compliance
- Knowledge of GAAP and reporting practices for payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, and the general ledger
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- A current CPA or CMA credential, or active progress toward one, is strongly preferred
- Availability for extended hours and weekend work when needed
- Ability to pass a background screening
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, verbal, and technical communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across organizational levels and as part of a team
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, solve complex problems, balance competing priorities, and perform in a fast-paced setting
- Fine motor ability for computer and calculator use, including repetitive keyboarding
- Visual and communication abilities sufficient to perform the role’s essential duties
