विवरण
- Keep key supply chain operations running smoothly across assigned areas.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and team members to meet customer commitments.
- Apply GXO quality policies and establish procedures for meeting quality objectives.
- Advise supervisors on personnel matters, quality, and safety.
- Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff.
- Recommend initiatives to improve operations.
- Manage equipment and coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports on schedule.
- Follow and enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards and regulations.
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least four years of relevant work experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience operating computerized scanner equipment.
- Flexibility to work as needed, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime and possible weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
- Four years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement preferred.
- Experience in warehousing or third-party logistics (3PL) preferred.
- Ability to maintain a safe workplace by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across departments.
- Strong problem-solving and statistical analysis skills.
- Ability to lift objects of varying shapes, sizes, and weights.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
- Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse conditions.
