- Convert business needs into technical specifications and guide the architecture, development, and growth of the regulatory product portfolio.
- Partner with project managers and business analysts.
- Deliver roadmap work and release code that addresses customers’ regulatory challenges.
- Build coding skills and regulatory expertise, taking ownership of part of the portfolio over time.
- Work with engineers to create regulatory technology.
- Suggest platform architecture improvements and help put them into practice.
- Understand product challenges and take part in reviews and design sessions.
- Promote practices such as test-driven development and code analysis.
- Account for performance, security, and maintainability requirements.
- Travel occasionally when needed.

- Bring 3–5 years of relevant Python experience.
- Have practical experience collaborating with version control tools such as Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Be experienced working with non-technical stakeholders, business requirements, and ambiguity.
- Know unit testing, automated testing, and testing best practices.
- Have worked in large codebases with multiple contributors, features, and timelines.
- Be comfortable with a Unix-based operating system such as Ubuntu (desirable).
- Have experience with an agile framework such as Kanban or Scrum (desirable).
- Have experience improving or refactoring existing code as requirements evolve (desirable).
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering (desirable).
- Have personal, academic, or internship projects involving scripting, automation, or data handling (desirable).
