- Source software businesses that match acquisition criteria and defined metrics
- Research industries and markets to identify trends and acquisition opportunities
- Plan and execute prospecting campaigns through email and outbound calls
- Complete preliminary acquisition assessments, including business and financial due diligence and evaluation of opportunities and risks
- Maintain and update the deal pipeline on a regular basis
- Review investment presentations and distill extensive data and analysis into concise presentations
- Build models to interpret quantitative data and produce analysis
- Review files received from target companies and communicate due diligence findings to management
- Work with cross-functional teams on data requests, information sharing, due diligence, project meetings, and transaction execution
आवश्यकताएँ
- One to two years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
- Prior experience in software mergers and acquisitions
- Strong academic performance at a top-tier institution
- An undergraduate business degree is viewed favorably
- Professional maturity and presence when interacting with C-level executives
- Self-directed approach with strong sales and communication abilities
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with close attention to detail
