Install and service automated pedestrian doors for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, diagnosing electromechanical issues and supporting safe, reliable customer entrances.
विवरण
- Install and service equipment according to manufacturer procedures and specifications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade sliding, swinging, and revolving doors.
- Record time worked and document job-site problems, shortages, and inefficiencies.
- Follow safe work practices to protect colleagues, contractors, the public, and property.
- Use and care for required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot electromechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
- Communicate professionally with customers, end users, and contractors.
- Take part in training programs.
- Join on-call rotations after completing certification and training.
- Provide dependable automated door solutions and customer service.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring 3–5 years of direct industry experience, storefront door installation experience, or relevant industry experience.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 21 because of job-related responsibilities.
- Obtain and maintain AAADM certification within six months of employment.
- Obtain and maintain AAADM certification within one year of employment.
- Have mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electromechanical devices.
- Know basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120 V) wiring; access control experience is an advantage.
- Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- Show a strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
- Be able to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
- Be able to perform physical work, including lifting, positioning, and installing door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as needed.
