ESG Impact Analyst, Chicago (Hybrid)
Manage ESG utility data, analysis and reporting across Harrison Street’s global real estate, infrastructure and credit investments. Support investor disclosures, compliance and value creation.

- Maintain ESG records for assets in the global investment portfolio.
- Collect, analyze and report monthly utility use across US, Canadian and European assets.
- Review data against established rules to find outliers and missing information.
- Work with operators and vendors to resolve data problems and escalate non-compliance.
- Manage ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, asset profiles, data checks, data flows and reporting.
- Improve data governance, collection processes, templates and documentation.
- Assist with annual GRESB submissions and performance data preparation.
- Compile the annual corporate office greenhouse gas inventory and track emissions against targets.
- Contribute to ESG reporting, investor due diligence questionnaires, the Corporate Impact Report and fund reports.
- Track performance and risk indicators and assist with assurance, reviews and audits.
- Create dashboards, reports and visualizations.
- Identify trends, measure value and recommend practical actions based on data analysis.
- Help analyze environmental and social programs, including Fitwel certifications and social impact scorecards.
- Research market risks and opportunities, building performance standards, carbon taxes, incentives and building codes.
- Contribute to Impact team initiatives, including reviews of asset capital plans.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, business, finance, economics, environmental science, sustainability or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Training in data analytics.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience managing large datasets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex data clearly.
- Ability to collaborate across Asset Management, Portfolio Management and Transactions.
- Experience with carbon accounting, ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, GRESB and IFRS ISSB is preferred.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as GRI and SASB is preferred.
- Knowledge of green buildings, corporate social responsibility and ESG risks in investment diligence is preferred.
