Engineer Surveyor – Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV), UK Remote
Conduct LEV inspections, testing and compliance reporting for Allianz customers across the UK. This home-based role involves travel to customer sites.

- Perform Thorough Examination and Testing (TExT) on Local Exhaust Ventilation systems at customer sites
- Examine LEV systems designed to control dust, fumes, vapours and mists
- Evaluate fans, ducting, hoods and filtration equipment
- Prepare clear, professional inspection reports and recommendations
- Support customers in maintaining safe workplaces and complying with COSHH requirements
- Work autonomously within an assigned geographical area
- Organise inspection appointments, workload and priorities
- Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships
- Travel to schools, hospitals, manufacturing sites and production facilities
- Work alongside experienced Engineer Surveyors and Team Leaders
- Take part in technical development, induction and training programmes
आवश्यकताएँ
- Level 3 or higher qualification in a discipline related to mechanical engineering
- Hands-on engineering experience in maintenance, servicing, repair, manufacturing, installation, testing or inspection
- Practical understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, with the ability to apply engineering principles
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Effective spoken and written communication skills
- Confidence using tablets, smartphones and digital reporting tools
- Ability to work safely and effectively in industrial and commercial settings, including areas requiring access to elevated equipment
- Engineer Surveyor experience is desirable
- Experience with LEV, extraction, air handling or industrial ventilation is desirable
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations is desirable
- Manufacturing, production, process engineering or industrial experience is desirable
- Experience preparing technical reports and compliance documentation is desirable
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or professional registration in progress is desirable
- Responsible use of artificial intelligence is desirable
