Bookkeeper
Maintain WeBuyVintage’s financial records and support transaction processing, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting. Hybrid role based in Cambridge, UK.
विवरण
- Maintain and update ledgers, journals, accounts, and other financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts each week.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Track cash flow and flag discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Organise financial documentation and filing systems.
- Respond to financial queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
- Report to the Head of Finance.
- Follow company policies and applicable regulations.
- Meet KPIs for record accuracy, timely transaction processing and reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with Xero and Google Sheets.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A problem-solving mindset.
- AAT or a similar qualification is desirable.
- Experience in the antiques or jewellery industry is desirable.
- Knowledge of UK VAT regulations and payroll processes is desirable.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Reliable and consistent.
- Collaborative team player.
- Must have the right to work in the UK throughout employment.
