  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and analysis for the Electrical Group
  • Ensure business-unit financial reports are accurate, complete, and reliable
  • Track month-end close progress and reporting deadlines across operating companies
  • Investigate material balance sheet and income statement variances with business-unit controllers
  • Prepare or review consolidation entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and group accounting activities
  • Collaborate with Marmon Corporate Accounting on reporting, consolidation, and accounting issues
  • Act as the OneStream subject matter expert for financial reporting systems
  • Advance compliance with U.S. GAAP, Marmon policies, SPIs, and internal control standards
  • Support internal control design, assessment, testing, and SOX compliance
  • Track audit findings through remediation
  • Research and document accounting conclusions for unusual transactions, acquisitions, restructurings, and technical accounting matters
  • Coordinate adoption of new accounting standards and corporate reporting requirements
  • Support financial statement certification and governance processes
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Evaluate business performance, profitability, working capital trends, and key financial measures
  • Create executive reports, dashboards, presentations, analyses, and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Translate financial information into actionable business recommendations
  • Work with controllers and finance leaders to strengthen performance, reporting quality, and process consistency
  • Review capital expenditure proposals and track post-audit reviews for major investments
  • Provide financial analysis and business insight for cross-functional initiatives
  • Encourage the exchange of financial best practices
  • Participate in acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration
  • Lead or contribute to finance transformation, automation, standardization, and process improvement
  • Find ways to increase reporting efficiency, control effectiveness, and data quality
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Develop relationships with controllers and finance teams throughout the Group
  • Mentor emerging finance professionals and prepare for advancement to a Company Controller role

आवश्यकताएँ

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred
  • At least seven years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, controllership, or finance leadership
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statements, consolidations, and internal controls
  • Experience in a multi-entity manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
  • Excellent communication and business-partnering skills, with the ability to influence at every organizational level
  • Experience with consolidation and financial reporting platforms such as OneStream is preferred
  • Evidence of leadership potential and an interest in progressing to a Controller position
  • Approximately 30% travel is required
