Join Centene Corporation as an Accountant I supporting cash accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting for Medicaid health plans. The role is remote within the continental United States, with St. Louis strongly preferred.

- Support cash accounting activities for Medicaid health plans
- Maintain complete and accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Contribute to special accounting projects
- Manage cash accounting, including deposits, applications, collections, and forecasting
- Process payment and void requests
- Address payment-related inquiries
- Help prepare financial reports and support month-end closing activities
- Review variances and account balances
- Analyze financial data related to assets, liabilities, and capital
- Complete additional assigned responsibilities
- Follow applicable policies and standards
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Up to two years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and XLOOKUP
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental United States
- St. Louis, Missouri, is strongly preferred
