Wind Turbine System Simulation Engineer – GE Vernova, Salzbergen
Model and validate wind turbine systems at GE Vernova, supporting component design, risk analysis, and investigations into field failures. This on-site engineering role is based in Salzbergen, Germany.
Tavsif
- Advance turbine product design with system models covering loads, operability, aerodynamics, aeroelastics, acoustics, or power performance.
- Validate wind turbine systems and analyze test data from turbines and their components.
- Assist component owners with design work and specifications.
- Contribute to failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), risk assessments, and root cause investigations.
- Address field service cases and investigate failures across the installed turbine base.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience with multibody simulation gained through coursework, internships, or other experience.
- Wind turbine technology experience is advantageous but not required.
- Experience in a related area such as power systems, data science, or systems engineering, or with software development practices such as verification and validation and version control.
- Self-motivated, energetic, positive, and adaptable in changing environments.
- A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical problems clearly and simply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in international project teams.
- Interest in renewable energy or sustainability.
