Shape the architecture and technical direction of production AI systems at CKEditor, an open-source rich text editor. Lead reliable LLM integrations and help guide engineering practices.

- Set the architecture and technical direction for AI systems, from early exploration through production and ongoing development.
- Design scalable, maintainable systems, covering APIs, service boundaries, reliability, performance, security, and cost.
- Translate complex product ideas into experiments, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
- Develop dependable LLM integrations and establish ways to test, evaluate, monitor, and improve AI features.
- Write and review code, tackle complex technical problems, and mentor engineers.
- Shape engineering practices and support teams in adopting AI development tools while preserving code quality and maintainability.
Talablar
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex production systems at Staff, Senior Staff, Tech Lead, or equivalent level.
- Strong practical experience with TypeScript, Node.js, software architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience delivering production AI or LLM features, including testing, evaluation, observability, and reliability.
- Sound architectural judgment, with the ability to balance simplicity, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Ability to own work end to end, from ambiguous technical challenges through successful production delivery.
- Ability to shape technical decisions, mentor engineers, and work effectively across teams without formal authority.
- Experience with multi-provider LLM integrations, AI evaluation frameworks, tracing, or experimentation.
- Experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing developer platforms, APIs, SDKs, or open-source products.
- Experience creating shared libraries, frameworks, or internal platforms.
