Software Engineering Intern
Build and test software for Expedia Group’s web, e-commerce, and travel platforms. Work with engineers on scalable services, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.
Tavsif
- Build web applications and e-commerce products for Expedia Group’s travel platforms.
- Develop solutions designed to handle high volumes of traffic.
- Work with teams to refine and ship features efficiently.
- Design, build, and test software components and services with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Write maintainable code and use unit tests, code reviews, and basic debugging.
- Contribute to system and API design, as well as data modeling.
- Turn product and technical requirements into working solutions.
- Partner with teammates, mentors, and colleagues across functions.
- Use data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving methods to improve code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Use AI tools and workflows, including the safe integration and operation of AI and machine learning solutions.
- Present internship projects to teammates and senior leaders.
Talablar
- Be available for the full program, either May 24–July 30 or June 21–August 27.
- Be pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical field, such as computer science or information technology, with graduation expected between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Be willing to relocate to the job’s city if it is outside commuting distance.
- Attend a university in the same country as the internship.
- Have no more than two years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Basic familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Kotlin, Java, or Python, is helpful.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts is helpful.
- Effective communication and the ability to work with a range of partners are helpful.
