Tavsif

  • Strengthen FME Form against security threats, including by preventing memory-safety defects.
  • Develop and maintain early detection tools, such as fuzzing harnesses, sanitizer and static analysis coverage, and build pipeline compiler and runtime hardening.
  • Lead threat modeling for released and planned features, and review the resulting assessments.
  • Assess reported vulnerabilities, determine severity and impact, and guide remediation.
  • Design and guide delivery of complex, high-impact product features and systems.
  • Lead technical initiatives across teams and align departments on priorities and solutions.
  • Coach and mentor developers at all experience levels.
  • Promote strong practices in architecture, testing, security, and performance.
  • Address technical debt, improve system reliability, and refine development processes.
  • Bring technical and security input to product planning with Product Management and UX.
  • Offer expert guidance in code and design reviews.
  • Help shape Safe Software’s development culture, standards, and tooling strategy.
  • Maintain and expand FME Form with internal stakeholders and collaborative development teams.

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least seven years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership on complex projects and systems.
  • Advanced C++ proficiency for core system development.
  • Python experience for automation and scripting.
  • Background in architectural design, debugging, and optimization of large, complex codebases.
  • Experience threat modeling released features, for example with STRIDE or DREAD.
  • Experience scoring vulnerabilities with CVSS v4.0.
  • Product security experience, including ownership of security-sensitive code and security tooling.
  • Experience with fuzzing, sanitizers, static analysis, SAST/DAST, and hardening.
  • Ability to assess and communicate vulnerability severity using CVSS and CWE.
  • Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
  • Ability to align teams, collaborate effectively, and lead through change.
  • Comfort working amid ambiguity and changing priorities, with pragmatic risk tradeoffs.
  • Systems-level perspective and ability to balance technical detail with business context.
  • Preferred: Experience generating SBOMs and managing third-party vulnerabilities at scale.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with OWASP and MITRE.
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications, such as OSED, OSCE, GXPN, SANS SEC661/SEC760, or CSSLP.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Safe Software’s core technology areas or similar technical domains.
  • Preferred: Experience with macOS and Linux.
  • Preferred: Experience building desktop applications with the Qt Framework, particularly Qt Widgets.
