Senior Remote Logistics Specialist, Gas Power
Lead Gas Power repair shipments at GE Vernova by coordinating transport plans, budgets, and OTM operations. Support on-time delivery, compliance, and cost control across logistics projects.
Tavsif
- Coordinate transportation and logistics for goods and services moving to and from internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Act as the main logistics planning contact for cross-functional execution teams.
- Create and oversee logistics plans for a range of projects.
- Follow ITO and OTR logistics processes across Gas Power projects.
- Prepare project logistics budgets and transportation plans.
- Coordinate logistics planning and delivery to meet schedules and control costs.
- Check that customer requirements and contractual commitments are met.
- Develop working relationships with internal partners and key account contacts.
- Oversee daily operations and report to leadership, including morning startup and end-of-day updates.
- Design and lead logistics solutions from planning through delivery.
- Manage key logistics measures and direct additional operational work.
- Oversee Steam GE Gas Repairs shipments in OTM and maintain 4PL compliance.
- Partner with OTM teams to develop and improve the system.
- Follow financial guidelines and ensure transactions are completed on time.
- Oversee post-shipment questions and claims.
- Maintain and improve the accuracy of logistics tracking data.
- Support less experienced colleagues and lead low-risk projects.
Talablar
- At least four years of hands-on, day-to-day logistics experience.
- A relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- A high school diploma or GED may be accepted with at least six years of related work experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven analytical problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects.
- Ability to plan, market, and execute.
- Spanish is preferred for written and spoken communication in the industry.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a drug screen where applicable.
