Senior PKI Automation Engineer
Build certificate lifecycle automation for Bank of America’s India operations using Venafi, C#, and PowerShell. Develop integrations, pipelines, and enterprise PKI solutions.
Tavsif
- Design scalable certificate automation for provisioning, renewal, and revocation with Venafi TPP and custom tools
- Create reusable PowerShell, C#, or comparable code for certificate workflows, integrations, and backend processes
- Build API-based automation frameworks with Venafi APIs and enterprise integrations
- Turn manual processes into automated self-service solutions
- Lead automation patterns from design through deployment, with error handling, observability, and resilience
- Develop standardized automation pipelines and reusable components for enterprise use
- Upgrade, patch, and enhance the Venafi platform
- Guide technical decisions and advance an engineering-led approach to automation
- Work independently to find opportunities for engineered solutions in place of manual fixes
- Deliver maintainable, tested, integrated software that meets functional, non-functional, and compliance needs
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- At least five years of professional experience
- At least five years of software development and scripting experience with C# and PowerShell
- Ability to create custom automation solutions from the ground up
- Practical experience building API integrations and automation frameworks; Venafi API experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL or Linux, IIS, and networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSH
- Knowledge of PKI engineering and certificate lifecycle management
- Experience with Venafi TPP, TLS Protect, or comparable enterprise certificate management platforms
- Experience designing automation frameworks or platforms for enterprise scale
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Exposure to platform engineering, developer enablement, or self-service automation
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Self-directed approach, curiosity, and comfort working amid ambiguity
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
- Availability to work from 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- PKI, Venafi, or related security technology certifications are preferred
