Senior Logistics Coordinator
Coordinate shipments, shipping records, inventory, and transportation costs for DSV in Houston. The role supports on-time delivery and resolves issues across the shipping process.
Tavsif
- Coordinate goods movement between suppliers and customers.
- Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet delivery schedules and customer specifications.
- Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, and other shipping documents.
- Track shipments and monitor inventory levels.
- Address shipping delays, damage, and lost freight.
- Keep accurate records of shipping transactions.
- Review transportation costs and seek ways to reduce expenses.
- Keep current with developments and trends in the logistics industry.
Talablar
- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred, but not required.
- At least two years of logistics or supply chain experience is preferred.
- Experience at a transportation or logistics company is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Care and accuracy when handling details.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and customs requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with transportation management software is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
