Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Python and React
Build AI-enabled restaurant technology software for global brands, working across Python and React. Own scalable features from architecture and development through deployment and monitoring.
Tavsif
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Use AI coding agents to speed product development and resolve defects.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Create asynchronous application workflows with tools such as Sidekiq.
- Develop responsive, high-performance React.js interfaces and reusable components.
- Write and tune SQL queries for PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
- Strengthen the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of large enterprise systems.
- Draft technical specifications with the team that support product roadmaps and enterprise architecture goals.
- Apply APM and observability tools to find, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Spot technical debt and lead practical efforts to reduce it.
- Take features and complex issues from product design through implementation, release, and monitoring.
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering in a collaborative pod-based setting.
- Support external customers by working with internal platform users.
- Prioritize and reduce technical debt while improving system scalability and performance.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design conversations.
- Take part in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve outages, identify root causes, and implement follow-up improvements.
- Guide junior engineers and encourage sound engineering practices using AI-led approaches.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years building enterprise applications with Python.
- At least 3 years working with React.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
- At least 3 years on an engineering team of 30 or more people.
- At least 3 years working fully remotely, with an interest in continuing to do so.
- At least 3 years developing and operating applications on AWS.
- At least 2 years using AI coding agents, including Claude Code or Codex.
- Experience using Docker in a local development environment.
- Experience operating enterprise production workloads on AWS.
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience writing SQL queries directly against a relational database.
- Experience building asynchronous background job processing across multiple tools or frameworks.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic.
- Experience writing automated unit tests with over 60% code coverage.
- Experience developing CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions.
- Experience modernizing legacy Python applications.
- Experience in a product-led engineering organization.
- Experience working across multiple engineering teams or pods.
- A strong sense of accountability and ownership, including raising identified gaps.
- Experience in high-volume transactional production environments.
- Ability to translate product requirement documents into detailed technical specifications.
- Availability to work US Eastern Time hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
