- Create highly realistic animation for creatures, characters, and objects.
- Animate natural and exaggerated movement to meet each project’s needs.
- Work confidently across realistic, cartoon, and other animation styles.
- Build engaging performances that support the project’s creative direction and requirements.
- Polish performances, explore reactions, and develop creative ideas.
- Keep animation technically sound, follow guidelines, and support different production pipelines.
- Work with technical and rigging teams to solve problems and improve workflows.
- Coordinate with other departments and give clear feedback on creative and technical solutions.
- Update supervisors and production teams on progress, possible bottlenecks, and changes.
- Share expertise, join learning sessions, and mentor junior animators.
- Follow new animation techniques and technologies, and continue building your skills.
Talablar
- At least six years of experience at a visual effects or animation studio.
- Proficiency in Maya; familiarity with other animation tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of body mechanics and facial animation.
- Ability to animate from reference and create convincing acting performances.
- Careful attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective deadline management.
- Positive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
- Experience with ShotGrid or other production tracking tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of rigging fundamentals or custom tool development is an advantage.
