Senior EDI Business Analyst at DSV (Remote, Canada)
Lead customer EDI integrations and projects at DSV, a global transport and logistics company. Develop technical specifications and interfaces, validate solutions through testing, and deliver projects on schedule.
Tavsif
- Deliver complex integrations and major EDI projects on time and within budget.
- Assess customer needs and develop technical specifications.
- Estimate the effort required for new solutions.
- Build or update complex interfaces using standard solutions.
- Validate solution quality with test scenarios.
- Prepare detailed specifications and documentation based on operational procedures.
- Communicate promptly, efficiently, and proactively with stakeholders.
- Help identify opportunities to collaborate with the EDI department.
- Help team members develop and reach their potential.
- Support ISO 9001 commitments and quality, health, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Comply with internal rules and procedures, applicable laws, managers’ instructions, and the DSV Code of Conduct.
- Take part in training and continue developing your skills through self-study.
Talablar
- A degree or qualification in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- At least three years of experience with EDI integration.
- Extensive knowledge of EDI standards such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12.
- Extensive knowledge of XML.
- Substantial experience delivering IT projects using Agile methods.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, or HTTP.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Deep expertise in EDI standards, especially UN/EDIFACT and ANSI X12.
- In-depth knowledge of APIs, FTP, SFTP, and AS2, with hands-on implementation experience.
- Advanced proficiency in XML and XPath.
- Broad understanding of EDI transactions in the transport industry.
- Availability to work regular hours and additional hours when business needs require it.
