Senior EDI Business Analyst
Lead complex EDI integrations for DSV’s global transport and logistics operations. Translate customer needs into technical specifications, design interfaces, and guide projects through delivery and hypercare.
Tavsif
- Deliver complex integrations and major EDI projects on schedule and within budget.
- Assess customer requirements and turn them into technical specifications.
- Estimate the effort needed to develop new solutions.
- Build or adapt complex interfaces from standard solutions, validating quality with test scenarios.
- Prepare detailed specifications and documentation aligned with operational procedures.
- Keep stakeholders informed proactively about daily work and project progress.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with the EDI department.
- Support colleagues in developing their skills and potential.
- Follow internal policies, procedures, applicable laws, management instructions, employment and compensation rules, and intellectual property protections.
- Uphold ISO 9001 commitments and quality, health, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Integrate sustainability, health, and safety considerations into daily work.
Talablar
- A degree or qualification in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- At least three years of experience with EDI integration.
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12.
- Strong knowledge of XML.
- Extensive experience delivering IT projects using Agile methods.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, or HTTP.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Extensive expertise in EDI standards, especially UN/EDIFACT and ANSI X12.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with API, FTP, SFTP, and AS2 protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in XML and XPath.
- Thorough understanding of EDI transactions in the transport sector.
- Availability to work regular hours and additional hours when business needs require.
