Senior Compliance Analyst, FedRAMP and Public Sector – Snowflake

Lead Snowflake’s FedRAMP and public-sector compliance program by maintaining authorization artifacts, coordinating assessments, and driving remediation. Partner with engineering, operations, assessors, and government stakeholders to align cloud controls with federal requirements.

Tavsif

  • Maintain Snowflake’s core FedRAMP authorization documentation, including the System Security Plan, Contingency Plan, and Incident Response Plan, with accurate annual updates
  • Oversee Plans of Action and Milestones, tracking findings, risks, and remediation commitments through resolution
  • Serve as Snowflake’s primary liaison for annual 3PAO assessments and continuous monitoring with assessors and federal agency stakeholders
  • Guide Engineering and Operations teams in aligning cloud configurations with federal and DoD requirements, including FIPS 140-3 validation, boundary protection, access controls, logging, and monitoring
  • Assess gaps against emerging public-sector frameworks and requirements, including CMMC, GovRAMP, and FedRAMP Consolidated Rules
  • Develop technical roadmaps for addressing compliance gaps and remediation needs
  • Address customer and regulator questions regarding Snowflake’s public-sector security and compliance responsibilities
  • Create self-service compliance resources for customers and field teams
  • Coordinate IT, Legal, Product, Security, and Engineering stakeholders on public-sector compliance initiatives

Talablar

  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, GRC, or a related governance role in a regulated or public-sector environment
  • Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls and the FedRAMP authorization process
  • Experience contributing to System Security Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones, contingency plans, and incident response plans
  • Experience creating and maintaining audit-ready policies, standards, procedures, control narratives, and other governance documentation
  • Experience coordinating annual assessments or continuous monitoring with 3PAOs, auditors, or other assessors
  • Ability to influence Engineering, IT, Legal, and Security stakeholders and advance control implementation and remediation without direct authority
  • Strong organizational skills for managing concurrent audit and assessment schedules and tracking findings through closure
  • Experience applying AI to automate or streamline manual compliance processes
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or another information security certification
  • Experience with DoD Impact Level authorizations and CMMC certification
  • Current authorization to work in the United States
  • U.S. person status or other applicable authorization for the role, plus residence within commuting distance of or willingness to relocate to a designated Snowflake office.
