Remote Finance Data Analyst
Build finance dashboards and reliable data models at 1Password, a cybersecurity company. Automate reporting on ARR, retention, billing, and subscription performance with AI-enabled workflows.
Tavsif
- Create and refine Hex dashboards for financial and business performance.
- Turn business questions into self-serve reporting and analysis of ARR, paying customers, retention, subscriptions, and related measures.
- Help build dependable data models for new pricing, products, and changing business models.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and financial reporting by investigating variances, identifying their drivers, and explaining changes.
- Automate recurring manual and spreadsheet tasks with AI skills and workflows.
- Work with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and keep metric definitions clear.
- Present findings to stakeholders, use their feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams.
- Report to the Senior Manager of Financial Data Analytics.
Talablar
- Experience in analytics or a related data role.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including joins, common table expressions, window functions, and analysis of large datasets.
- Understanding of data modeling, including fact and dimension tables and star schemas.
- Ability to turn stakeholder questions into analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and refine dashboards based on feedback.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts is an advantage.
- Experience with business intelligence or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is valuable.
- Already authorized to work in the United States or Canada; work authorization, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship are not provided.
