Project Controls Analyst – Emerson, Sorocaba
Supports Emerson control valve and on-off valve projects. Coordinates project schedules, finances, billing, and documentation for industrial automation work.
Tavsif
- Manage operational tasks for PA project orders.
- Track delivery milestones and keep project plans, execution, and customer commitments aligned.
- Help Project Managers monitor scope, schedules, and financial results.
- Flag cost, billing, or schedule risks and variances, and recommend corrective steps.
- Maintain project records in line with PMO standards.
- Oversee financial controls, including baseline budgets, costs, variances, and margins.
- Use Oracle ERP for project setup, billing, and closeout activities.
- Track cash flow and financial commitment reports.
- Check that billing is accurate and submitted on time.
- Assist with data analysis and financial reporting.
- Build and update schedules with tools such as MS Project.
- Track delivery dates and coordinate alignment meetings with internal teams.
- Compare progress with key milestones and report deviations.
- Coordinate with Document Control to meet documentation deadlines.
- Maintain project structures and records in management systems such as Clarity.
- Set up WBS structures, allocate resources, and support project closeout.
- Keep project files organized in SharePoint, DocPro, or MS Teams.
- Use project controls practices and lessons learned.
- Help develop and improve project controls processes and procedures.
- Contribute to S&OP activities where applicable.
- Share expertise and assist with internal training.
- Encourage use of Emerson corporate policies across the PMO project environment.
Talablar
- Degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related discipline.
- Background in project administration or support, project controls, or order coordination.
- Understanding of cost control, billing, and basic scheduling.
- Experience using ERP systems and project management tools.
- Advanced Excel ability and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Office 365.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Role is based in Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil.
- Spanish is preferred.
- Clarity experience is preferred.
- MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tool experience is preferred.
- Experience in a PMO or engineering or project-based organization is preferred.
- Familiarity with S&OP processes is preferred.
- Oracle systems knowledge is preferred.
- CRM Cloud knowledge is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
