Principal Installation Analysis Engineer in Kuala Lumpur
Lead installation analysis for TechnipFMC’s offshore energy projects in Kuala Lumpur. Develop subsea installation methodologies, guide technical analysis, coordinate project delivery, and mentor engineering teams.
Tavsif
- Serve as the country- or region-level technical authority for installation analysis
- Develop safe, robust methodologies for offshore installation operations
- Support offshore installation of flexible flowlines and risers, umbilicals, HFLs, rigid pipelines, and rigid spools
- Support the installation of subsea structures, including manifolds, protection structures, PLETs, and ILTs
- Deliver technical guidance and risk analysis for projects and installation operations
- Coordinate with project teams, project management, and client engineering representatives
- Support client relationships through presentations, meetings, and technical interfaces
- Provide offshore assistance during active installation operations
- Review analysis work and develop advanced technical and analytical solutions
- Resolve installation analysis issues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide senior technical guidance and tender support
- Coordinate installation design work, including subcontractor activities, mentoring, design bases, analysis methods, schedules, and budgets
- Help shape discipline strategy through seminars and peer collaboration sessions
- Identify development priorities and define target skills and knowledge
- Consolidate group expertise and provide regional guidance and training
- Recommend improvements, optimization, and innovation in engineering processes and tools
- Maintain HSE and engineering performance by applying subsea engineering rules, processes, and standards
- Manage assigned internal studies and present technical papers at major conferences
Talablar
- A preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 8 years in offshore installation activities
- Proficiency with design and installation analysis software such as OrcaFlex
- Expertise in industry standards and current installation analysis practices
- Advanced engineering and analytical capabilities
- Advanced project management ability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
