Manufacturing Software Engineer Intern
Join Skydio’s manufacturing team to develop software that supports drone production at scale. Work across Python, AI, hardware testing, and factory automation.
Tavsif
- Support production of drones, docks, and accessories at scale.
- Create processes and tools to help manufacturing expand.
- Develop an AI-assisted system to inspect drone hardware and recommend repair parts.
- Build a hardware-testing framework that connects LLM agents with the manufacturing API.
- Compare test results with identified root causes and recommended rework.
- Contribute to cross-functional software projects spanning backend, embedded and frontend software, robotics, and hardware fixtures.
- Build and maintain continuous hardware-in-the-loop testing systems.
- Design code deployment systems for physical machines operating across challenging networks.
- Create visual configuration tools for mass production.
- Develop robot calibration processes and dashboards showing factory status.
- Develop automated test fixtures for sensors and actuators.
Talablar
- Strong coding fundamentals.
