Managing Consultant, Capital Project Delivery — Overland Park Hybrid
Lead environmental permitting, NEPA reviews, and ESA work for ERM capital projects in renewable energy, transmission, and oil and gas. Manage client engagements and guide sustainability consulting for major developments.
Tavsif
- Direct environmental permitting and compliance for major capital projects.
- Manage multi-media permitting and NEPA processes through delivery.
- Lead client engagements, keeping work on scope, budget, and quality targets.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee permitting and compliance for renewable energy, transmission, and oil and gas projects.
- Manage ESA consultations and prepare Habitat Conservation Plans.
- Develop project mitigation strategies.
- Produce NEPA-compliant impact assessments and management plans.
- Advise clients on strategy and identify ways to create additional business value.
- Uphold strong health and safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction standards.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, natural resources management, ecology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of consulting work involving NEPA impact assessments and multi-media permitting.
- Experience with ESA procedures, Section 7 or 10 consultations, and Habitat Conservation Plan development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong technical writing and communication abilities.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to ERM’s sustainability vision.

- Established client relationships in Midwest energy and infrastructure markets are preferred.
- International project experience and familiarity with global regulatory frameworks are preferred.
